FQTC Scholars

The Center for Research in Feminist, Queer, and Transgender Studies hosts a number of visiting and affiliated scholars each year. With residencies ranging from a week to the academic year, these scholars enrich and extend the intellectual breadth of the GSWS community. Affiliations include:

Diversity Visiting Scholar: an invited short-term residency which brings to campus a prominent feminist or sexuality scholar whose scholarship has an impact on the society at large, as well as engages a topic that is underrepresented on campus;

Visiting Scholars: a competitive position for three-months to one academic year which provides opportunities for scholars from all disciplines to conduct independent research related to gender and sexuality while in residence at the University of Pennsylvania;

Research Affiliates: designed for U.S.-based scholars with an existing institutional connection to Penn from all disciplines working on research projects related to gender, sexuality and/or women.
