The Gender, Sexuality, & Women’s Studies Program at Penn is the center of graduate student collaboration around projects related to gender, sexuality, and women's status in history and epistemology. GSWS offers regular and featured courses each semester as well as a Graduate Certificate Program that is open to graduate students enrolled in various Departments and Schools around the University of Pennsylvania (e.g. SAS, GSE, the Law School, Nursing).
In addition to the Graduate Certificate, the program provides a number of opportunities for Penn students to enrich their graduate study, including a Pedagogy Seminar Series with invited faculty and a Graduate Research Colloquium Series put on by and for graduate students to workshop their papers and presentations.
