The GSWS Program offers graduate research fellowships to support research deemed necessary for the completion of students' dissertations, both with deadlines in March. For students working in the social sciences, we offer the Leboy-Davies Fellowship. For students working in the humanities, we offer the Phyllis Rackin Fellowship.
Please Note: Enrollment in the GSWS Certificate Program is required for Rackin Fellowship applicants. For the Leboy-Davies Fellowship, enrollment in the certificate program is not required, but priority will be given to certificate students.
The Center for Research in Feminist, Queer, and Transgender Studies and the Gender, Sexuality & Women’s Studies Program also hold an annual competition for summer funding for conference participation, research, and other professional expenses. Awards generally range from $200 to $600, the amount varies from year to year. Deadline is set in the spring and sent to the graduate listserve. For further information, see the Center for Research in Feminist, Queer, and Transgender Studies.
