Liz Rose researches the intersections of trans theory and Black feminist theory in contemporary diasporic writing across the Americas, using translation as a method to illuminate critical, rhizomatic genealogies of trans feminist thought. They currently serve as Graduate Associate at the Philadelphia Trans Oral History Project, as well as research assistant for the Digital Bilingual (Portuguese/English) Edition of Correio de Africa under P.I. Dr. Zita Nunes. Liz’s work has been published in numerous places, most recently TSQ: Transgender Studies QuarterlyQui Parle, and Hopscotch Translation.
