Penn's LGBTQ+ student group is participating in Hillel's Israel Week. In honor of the week of programming, we are bringing Israeli LGBT television personality Assi Azar for a lecture. Not only is he an accomplished actor, host, and producer, but he has also written and published a documentary titled Mom, Dad, I Have Something To Tell You- about coming out to his family as an adolescent.

Assi is currently the host of Israel's Big Brother and The Next Star. In 2009, he was listed among the 100 most influential gay people in the world by OUT Magazine.
