The GSWS Program and The Center for Research in Feminist, Queer, and Transgender Studies have over 100 Core and Affiliated Faculty from more than 20 departments and schools who are national and international leaders in the field of Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies.  

Our faculty have won many awards and fellowships including Guggenheim, American Council of Learned Societies, Fulbright, the Institute for Advanced Study, the National Endowment for the Humanities, National Institutes for Health, Social Science Research Council, National Science Foundation, and many others.  

Our faculty offer over fifty courses reflecting the most recent cutting edge research and topics each year, and taken by 1300 to 1500 students annually.
