Penn Students, Staff, Faculty and Alums: Come be surreal with us!
We are putting on a show, a workshop production of the painter’s Leonora Carrington’s Opus Siniestros. It involves a worldwide plague that kills only women. The last woman on earth battles the patriarchy in the forms of a Doctor, the Pope, 12 cannibals, 3 astronauts, Superman and Hitler. A misgendered ostrich makes a star turn.
The show will be performed on the second floor terrace of the Penn ICA Galleries October 29th and 30th at 7 pm.
We especially need actors, dancers and performers. Please contact producer and director Ricardo A. Bracho at firstname.lastname@example.org
No experience necessary. No audition needed either. Just interest, availability and wildness.
Next rehearsal is Saturday, September 25th from 2-5 pm in the Conference Room of The Center for Research in Feminist, Queer, and Transgender Studies:
3340 Walnut Street
