Carol Tracy was unanimously chosen as the recipient of the 2021 Faculty Award given annually by the Friars Senior Society, Penn’s oldest and most active senior honor society. The Executive Director of the Women's Law Project, Tracy teaches a regular course on sexual and reproductive law and policy for the GSWS Program.
The Friars award recognizes "an outstanding Penn faculty member for not only their area expertise, but their compassion for teaching and their relationships with their students.” This award is unique because it is chosen by the top student leaders of the senior class in Friars each year. Tracy was presented her award virtually in front of over 115 alumni and undergraduate Friars from eight decades on Sunday, April 18th during the Annual Friars Spring Dinner.
