- Diana Burnett, Anthropology: "Navigating the Impact of Neoliberalism & the Nutrition Transition in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil"
- Aliya Rao, Sociology: "Islam, Gender, and Sexuality: The Experiences of American Converts to Islam"
The fellowship was created in honor of Phoebe Leboy and Helen Davies, two pioneering feminist faculty members in the health sciences. It provides up to $4,000 in research or travel funding to a graduate student whose work will foster women’s health, well-being, and educational equality anywhere in the world, or enhance our understanding of gender inequality.
