At the showcase, the OurSpace high school interns, comprised of LGBTQ+ youth across Philadelphia, will present the research they have been conducting throughout the semester! Their projects range from the history of pathologizing queerness to the cultural appropriation of Black hairstyles! The event is structured similarly to a research poster session where the high school students’ posters and presentations will be scattered throughout the LGBT Center. At the event, students will present their research, and there will be food, music, and fun!
