Calling graduate students: Join CETLI Fellow for Inclusive & Equitable Teaching Nat Rivkin for the Trans-Affirming Pedagogy for Graduate Students workshop from 3:30 - 4:45 pm on Wednesday, March 27th! Held at Room 134/CETLI Seminar Room at Van Pelt library, this event will offer applicable strategies for graduate instructors across disciplines to make their classrooms more inclusive of gender expansive students. Drawing on Hil Malatino’s Trans Care (2020), we will discuss practical methods to refine and reorient our approaches to trans-affirming pedagogy. Participants are encouraged to bring and share trans-inclusive teaching strategies and course materials that have worked well for them in previous classroom settings.
