Cat Dawson, Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow, Sawyer Seminar on Race and Visual Culture in the Americas, presents: "Monumentality Without Monuments," on the relationship between queer, indigenous, and otherwise minoritized cultures, and the monumental form. This material is related to the final chapter of their book Monumental: Race, Representation, Culture, forthcoming from MIT Press in 2024.

Those local to the Valley are welcome in person in South College room E245 and for the reception that follows. Ample parking is available in the nearby Campus Center Garage.
