"Applying to Gender Studies Jobs Without a Gender Studies PhD" 
Our speakers will be Melissa Sanchez (UPenn, Professor of English and Director of GSWS and FQT) and Mary Zaborskis (Penn State Harrisburg, Assistant Professor of American Studies and Gender Studies and GSWS certificate alum!).
 
This workshop will be geared towards those currently and soon-to-be on the job market who are looking to apply to jobs in gender studies departments but whose PhDs are in other disciplines. We will talk about topics such as how to frame your gender studies certificate, understanding job ads, and how to write about teaching across disciplines in your materials. Make sure to come with all your questions!
