Around the globe, the challenging topics of race and gender identity are more and more prevalent. Often, these topics intersect with politics, making them even more layered and laden. These conversations aren't easy and yet finding ways to have those uncomfortable conversations appropriately is the key to overcoming our differences and finding common ground. COVID-19 has affected every person on the globe, and yet the impact for women has been more extensive and severe. From disparities that cross gender, racial, and socio-economic strata to caregiving and parenting, the pandemic has disproportionately affected women's labor and labor force participation.
