Healing after trauma and violence is not a linear process, but what can we learn through the voices of those who have experienced it? Dr. Laura Sinko will share her work amplifying survivor perspectives of healing and recovery through storytelling, photography, and film through an online exhibit debuting on Monday, April 26th 2021. We hope we can join together as a community to build hope that healing is possible in time and help us alll understand how we can create a more supportive healing environment for survivors.
An opening dialogue hosted by Penn Violence Prevention with the creator of this exhibit, Dr. Laura Sinko, will take place 4:00-5:00PM EST on 4/26 where she and the Our Wave team will share their award winning short film about healing after campus sexual assault and will be available to answer any attendee questions.
