Turning your dissertation into a book… and getting it published with Ricardo Bracho, APC Abrams Artist-in-Residence

In this workshop for GSWS grad students, academic book editor and development consultant, Ricardo A Bracho (Abrams Artist in Residence, GSWS, APC and LALS) will involve students in individual and collective exercises and discussions geared towards assisting in allaying fears, clarifying purpose and achieving the im-possible: finishing the dissertation and pursuing a book project. One on one speed pitching exercises and a variety of writing exercises will stimulate useful discussions and tangible solutions for students pressing needs as they approach completion of their PhD and enter the job market and academic publications spheres.
