The National Conference on Community Writing is a three day conference bringing together scholars from across the disciplines who do writing-related activist work across the country on a range of issues and in collaboration with activists working, for example, in women's shelters, in prisons, on urban farms, with at-risk youth and homeless, with undocumented residents, and others. The conference features a series of Deep Think Tanks held across the city, including at Kelly Writers House, The Barnes Museum, Bartram's Garden, and the Free Library.
