The first annual Youth Voices Summit is a youth-led and organized event for educators, administrators, policy makers, and advocates to hear directly from LGBTQ youth about their needs and experiences.

This event was created and developed by Mazzoni Center’s Youth Leadership Board members. The Brave Schools Youth Leadership Board is a group of LGBTQ youth from across Philadelphia who organize to make change in their schools and communities.

The event will feature the following sessions developed and presented by the Youth Leadership Board:

• Plenary session on LGBTQ inclusive classroom
• Breakout sessions on sample curricula, gender-neutral language, and best practices for supporting students who have or who are coming-ou
• LGBTQ Youth experiences panel

Join us to listen to the voices, experiences, and needs of LGBTQ youth! Coffee and lunch will be served.
