Were the 2018 midterms a watershed moment for women in politics? How can women achieve success in campaigns, and when will women gain equal representation in politics?

Join the Penn Government and Politics Association and our co-sponsor, Penn Exec AEI Council, for a panel discussion on women’s progress in government and the structural challenges female candidates still face for gaining positions of power.

Our panel will feature Anne Wakabayashi - Executive Director at Emerge Pennsylvania, Jasmine Sessoms - Founder of She Can Win and Former Deputy Executive Director of the Mayor’s Fund for Philadelphia, and Karlyn Bowman - AEI Senior Fellow and American public opinion expert.

This event is open to the entire Penn community.
Hummus Grill will be served!
