Creating an Unconventional Life: The Guts and Glory of Being a One-Woman Show

Jennifer Blaine will share her awakening as a one-woman show artist and discuss the unconventional path she has taken. As a woman she has bumped up against challenges, discrimination, and rejection, but has learned how to transform those challenges into fuel for her artistic ambitions and creations. The real-life characters in her one-woman show Dirty Joke  (such as Majora Carter, Madeleine Albright, and Arianna Huffington) similarly find their greatest fulfillment in overcoming challenges. Jennifer welcomes your questions about how to find your creative voice, be funny, craft a one-woman show, and create a livelihood.
