Gender Jawn S2 E4: Learning in Public with Courtney Martin

The book takes a critical look at the state of our segregated school system through the lens of one White family’s journey through their local public school. Courtney discusses the particularities of White motherhood and school choice, her own lived attempts at moving beyond the nuclear family model and, ultimately, what it means to take seriously the idea that having the “best” for our children means having the best for all children.
