Jonathan D. Katz, Visiting Associate Professor of Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies, is a pioneering figure in the development of a queer art history, responsible for many of the first queer accounts of such defining artists as Yayoi Kusama, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Cy Twombly, Agnes Martin, Robert Indiana, Andy Warhol, and a number of others.
