Monuments and Social Justice

Thursday, September 24, 2020 - 4:00pm to 5:30pm
This location is ADA accessible

The Arthur Ross Gallery presents a panel discussion on the removal of monuments in the U.S. and abroad as symbols of racism, colonialism, and oppression. From the toppling of the Jefferson Davis Memorial in Richmond, Virginia, to the burning of the Albert Pike statue in Washington, D.C., to the removal of King Leopold III’s monument in Antwerp, and the Frank Rizzo statue in Philadelphia, join us for this important conversation.
