Pedagogy Seminar: "Intersectionality in the Classroom: Debunking Myths and Advancing Justice" with Ange-Marie Hancock

Please join us for a pedagogy seminar featuring Ange-Marie Hancock, Associate Professor of Political Science and Gender Studies at the University of Southern California and the Alice Paul Center's Diversity Scholar in Residence. The seminar will take place Thursday, March 23 from 12pm-1:30pm in the second floor conference room at 3810 Walnut Street. The seminar description is as follows:

"Intersectionality in the Classroom: Debunking Myths and Advancing Justice"
This workshop will explore the challenge of teaching and applying an analytical framework that is simultaneously pervasive and inscrutable. It will feature activities designed to facilitate participants' evolution into ethical stewards of intersectionality in their careers.
