Black Lives Matter: A Discussion with Professor Ange-Marie Hancock

The Black Law Students Association (BLSA) invites all interested students and faculty to a lunchtime discussion with Professor Ange-Marie Hancock, Associate Professor of Political Science and Gender Studies at the University of Southern California, and the 2016-17 Diversity Scholar-in-Residence at Penn’s Alice Paul Center for Research on Women, Gender, and Sexuality. Professor Hancock will discuss her ongoing project, Scaling Up Stories for Justice: A Role in Black Lives Matter for Every Sector of Our Community, which addresses what philanthropy, social movement activists, scholar activists, allies and policy makers can do to ensure sustainable social transformation toward incorporating Black humanity into the United States.
