Graduate Student Pedagogy Seminar "Teaching Lecture Courses on Gender and Sexuality" with Kathy Peiss (History)

Monday, January 27, 2014 - 8:30am

Please join us in Cohen Hall 436 for this installment of our Graduate Student Pedagogy Seminar Series featuring Prof. Kathy Peiss (History).

This workshop will explore some of the challenges involved in designing and teaching lecture courses and surveys in gender and sexuality studies, particularly how to navigate what may seem to be conflicting imperatives--presenting content, teaching analytical skills, and encouraging students' personal engagement in a large class.

Lunch will be served!

Please RSVP (below) to reserve your lunch and to receive any materials ahead of time.
