Faculty Works-in-Progress Seminar featuring Prof. Liliane Weissberg (German) and her working paper, "Freud's Conversions."

Faculty Respondents: Andre Dombrowski (History of Art) and Talya Fishman (Religious Studies)

The paper will consider Sigmund Freud's views on religion, and especially religious conversion.  It will focus on the nexus between conversion and psychoanalysis, ranging from his earliest case study of Anna O. (Bertha Pappenheim) to his last publication on the Biblical figure of Moses.
